Teaching the cats to stay out of the crib
You might like to know that tin foil does not work!
It is a good cat alarm, though!

Re: Teaching the cats to stay out of the crib
Try double sided scotch tape. You can put it on a piece of cardboard the size of the mattress and put it in there. They hate sticky stuff on their paws and its a great deterrent. I did it with my cats, one had no interest but the other went in once, got the sticky tape on her paws and that was it.

I would recommend Feliway. You can buy it online. It worked for our cat who was doing bad things upstairs.

I don't know if there is anything that will definately keep them away. We just kept the door closed with the monitor on or now we just lock them up downstairs at night.

Re: Teaching the cats to stay out of the crib
They make something that goes over the crib and supposedly they cannot get it in. But cats usually do what they want, anyway. I should know, I found my cat in a hanging basket on my wall today!

Its a plug in thats a cat pheremone (sp). Its supposed to calm them and help them not mark. I first heard about it from moms that used it to keep the kitties out of the nursery. Its not a guarantee but worth a shot.
