Team Green War at Home
From the minute we got our BFP I said I wanted to find out what we were having and Dh said he was unsure. Now he says he wants to be surprised. He says I can find out but can't tell him, I have no idea how I'll hold in a secret like that. I Can't wait a whole 9 months, I want to do a nursery, and buy clothing.
Anyone else finding out or spouse finding out but not telling their better half? Should I just stay team green and not find out for DH, should I push him to find out?

Dh wanted to find out and said he wouldn't tell a soul. I didn't believe him- so I won and we didn't find out

I've heard of 1 spouse knowing while the other didn't, but don't have any personal experience...I know I would be BOUND to accidentally slip with a "he" or "she" when talking about the baby

We compromised and said we'd find out with this baby and then the next one HAD to be a surprise.

We are the reverse--DH wants to know but I don't. He teases me that he is going to slip the Dr. some cash to find out without me, but I know he won't.
I don't think we could keep it from each other, plus, it means a lot to me to be surprised together. if you can find out and keep it a secret, and he doesn't mind more power to you!

same here. though he's already told me that when we have our level II on friday, he's going to be on the look out!

My DH and I went through this battle. I was going to find out and there was no way I was going to wait. He wanted to wait. So he left the room during the "sex" finding part. Later, my husband admitted that he fully expected me to let it slip to him at some point and that he wasn't planning to wait until the end.
