Team greeners...I'm feeling guilty....
Any other team greeners actually have a tiny preference of one sex or the other? I would never admit this to anyone, or even admit my preference b/c I know how blessed and lucky I am to even be having this little miracle. But some days I get more excited thinking we may have a certain sex over the other. I feel so guilty about this and even cried a lot about it last night.

Don't feel guilty!! Just because you'd prefer one sex over the other doesn't mean that you won't love the child you'll have!!
My DH wants a little girl SO BAD. He wanted a little girl badly when we had DS. But, DS is so much fun for us, and he is daddy's little buddy.
This is one reason I remain team green, because I know that when that baby comes out, no matter what he/she is, my DH and I will love that baby no matter what. There will be no time to be disappointed.

Re: Team greeners...I'm feeling guilty....
We'll be team until the 19th.
I must say that up until recently I was pulling one way & now I am leaning the other.
I don't want to say which way because like you said its a miracle in and of itself. So either is much appreciated & beutiful.
Don't beat yourself up about it. There are more people who think this way than you know.
In the end when they place that baby boy or girl in your arms, you're going to fall in love & never think back about this thought.

PERFECTLY STATED! I am team green as well. We had our 20 week appointment on Monday and we stayed strong! There are wonderful things about having a boy and wonderful things about having a girl! Once that baby comes out your only focus will be LOVE! If you have a girl, you will have the best of both worlds! If you have a boy, your DS will have a best friend for life! You really can't go wrong either way!

Re: Team greeners...I'm feeling guilty....
I also want to add.... there are days when I would love to have a little girl to be my little best friend and dress her up and just have so much fun with her. Then I think of how great it would be to have a boy....having a boy as the oldest is great, all of our friends are having boys, I am one of 3 girls so my father would be in his glory if we had a boy. I sway back and forth and change my mind on a monthly basis!

Don't feel guilty. DH and I are very open about the fact that we want a boy. If we don't have one, obviously we won't care but for right now - we are pulling for a . I don't think there is anything wrong with that!

Re: Team greeners...I'm feeling guilty....
Do not feel guilty! We are team also. I know my DH definitely has a preference and he has slowly brain washed me, but will be happy no matter what we have. We both obviously want a healthy baby but I see nothing wrong with leaning towards one sex over the other. I am sure it is natural for a lot of people. Like a previous poster stated this is part of the reason why we remain team because I know no matter what we have as soon as that baby is born we are going to be thrilled and completely in love!

Re: Team greeners...I'm feeling guilty....
umm i sort of want to edit the video of my csection! we were team green. i have a boy already who i love everything about. i really thought another boy was heading our way and i was so excited to relive a little boy again.
when it was announce, its a girl....i seriously repeat it 7 times!
"really, a girl?" "i can't believe girl" "i am in shock, a girl?" you get it, i go on and on...
poor thing, even though we had 3 names picked out, she was nameless for 3 days. just threw us for a loop. the names did not fit, i could not believe i was holding a girl.
now...forget about it. we are sooooo in love with the idea of our girl. to think one day we will be in a hospital while she is giving birth to our grandkid...never ever thought about my son's wedding, we already want to start saving for her's. she is just the sweetest little thing.
and my boy is still my love.

i know what you mean...although dh and i have a preference, it won't matter either way when the baby is born. I do feel guilty sometimes b/c I feel like the baby can hear us, LOL!

Re: Team greeners...I'm feeling guilty....
I cried when I found out I was having a girl with my 1st preg.
Don't feel bad it's completely natural!!
This time we're staying team green and although I really am ok with having either sex (likes it's up to me ) I'd say I'm 60/40 girl.

Re: Team greeners...I'm feeling guilty....
I think its hard to imagine your life with a certain sex sometimes, ya know? I think people automatically feel like they "want" one sex over the other because that's what their used to. But in reality the second you see that precious baby, that is all you and DH, you won't even think about a different sex.
I'm actually very nervous to be having a girl this time around because I'm used to my DS, but so happy because now DH gets his little girl, like I got my little boy. But I know once she's here that will all melt away, and she'll be perfect just like DS was.

Re: Team greeners...I'm feeling guilty....
We are also and people ask us all the time, do you hope it's a or . My answer is always, we don't care, a healthy baby is all we want! DH and I went through IVF, after 4 failed IUI's, so this is our little miracle. Whatever God wants us to have, is what we will have, and we will love it no matter what

Re: Team greeners...I'm feeling guilty....
Don't feel bad. I am staying team green this time because I really prefer one sex over the other and don't want to be disappointed or less excited about the pregnancy if it is not what I am hoping for. It is totally normal, and believe me, once the baby is here, you will not care for one second about the sex.
