Tech Help...Please
So lost when it comes to this stuff but...I got a Epson for Christmas to scan, copy and print my pictures but in order to save the pics on CD I would need an External CD-R/RW drive (with USB connection) and it must receive power from an external power supply or adapter. Not only do I barely understand this but I have no idea where to find it. I found the external drives but no idea if they have the external power supply.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Thanks!!!!

Are you hooking the Epson up to your home computer?

Sorry - I should have mentioned that.
No - no home computer right now (can you believe that? ) so DH got me this printer/scanner because it works without a PC and has a USB port for devices to help save but they have to have an external power supply.

Re: Tech Help...Please
what ever you buy, the power supply comes with (external cd burners)
i would read the manual to see what cd-r burners you can hook up to the printer. You may want to return it and look at a different option.. (there was a new color photo printer with built in cd-burner) that look nice that doesn't require a computer

OMG - You are the best. I completely spaced out on the whole manual thing - I mean I looked but never thought to look online at the Epson website until you said this. It sparked the idea. So I went and sure enough they list external CD-R/RW drives that they have actually tested with the printer! Yay!!!
Thanks for your help!
