Teen Mom 8/17...spoilers

Farrah: $3000?! really? no red flags went up when you had to forward the money? And no i'm not a mom, and sure it can happen to anyone, but why would you leave your 1 year old on the bed unsupervised while she was awake? In the last few weeks, she has been left in the hall, burned by the sink and now fell off the bed.

Gary and Amber: Go your separate ways already. All you do is fight and there is no respect there. Their baby is too friggin cute.

Catelynn and Tyler: glad to see you were both able to work it out. Their baby is so friggin adorable. She is such a combo of them.

Maci (and Kyle): love them together. He seems to respect her and care for her and Bentley. I don't think she should have pushed him to change the diaper though. Granted he did it but still, I think Kyle making an effort to play with him was enough.

All I can say is... Gary driving his mini van around in a bunny costume?

and Farrah, come on.... seriously? I get that she is young and naive but she didn't wait to make sure the check cleared and was ok before wiring money?!? And who buys a car off of craigslist and sends a check for it without seeing it (maybe it happens but to me thats just a red flag). Funniest part, she is saying how she wanted a better lifestyle for her kid... but did you hear why she wanted to upgrade her car??? for a sunroof and digital clock

Tyler is annoying. I understand that kid went through ALOT.. but he needs to learn how to loosen up and try and be 17 again. I did like how he finally apologized in the end and didn't want to see the phone records, but I actually called him an idiot outloud when he ripped up the paper and threw it in the water!

This is the first time DH watched this show with me and he swears never again

Ok, can we really just talk about the episode and have fun with it? I was on the same post on the parenting board and it got too debatable.


Anyway,

maci-love her. I think she was pretty sweet with Kyle & Bentley. I just love seeing her smile

catelynn-snoozefest. I can't deal with her and tyler anymore

amber & gary-OMG, amber, you are sooo hard on gary. He isn't that bad.

Farrah-where to begin. I love how she has the best living arrangement (ie a BEAUTIFUL apartment, well dressed, etc). Who paid for all that, I'm dying to know. She couldn't possibly do that on her pizza job. Ok, so Sophia fell. Yes, it happens but Sophia always is in harms way. Then, she got caught in a craigslist scam. Oh no girly!! And why would you run out and buy a new car, get the old one detailed, etc BEFORE making sure the payments went through!!

Maci - A little akward with Kyle. I will excuse her because I adore Maci - but ITA that it was alittle forced,and the diaper thing was over the top. Bentley is still her responsiability and not Kyle's....he shouldnt be changing diapers, it is not his kid.

Amber and Geeeery - Once again Amber goes form 0-200 at Easter dinner. Was that guy Gary's brother, I seem to remember his brother being kind of normal looking last time? I mean who really cares what that mess would say any way? Anyway I was kind of on Ambers side that he shold have told his Brother to stfu when he said something about her family. But of course she was embarrassingly over dramatic, and ruined yet another day. I have said it once here it is maybe you wouldn't have all this energy to fight - if you CLEANED that apartment. I cant get over how disgusting it is. Soo trashy.

Farrah - yes we all knew this was a scam. I was cringing watching her. Again great job MTV no one says anything to her.....this is not me and DH losing 3K this is the difference between Farrah and Sophia paying rent or not,eatign or not. I somehow missed Sophia falling but i did see her being left on the balcony unattended.


Tyler and Cate - Tyler is soo on my nerves, he is lucky Catelynn isnt that scrappy - when I was that age I would have let that kid have it. i am gald to see his Mom talk him out of being soo mean to Catelynn for once. The poor girl is just soo needy for love my heart breaks for her.

Maci-dunno why, but her with Kyle really bothers me. Maybe it was how Bently was obviously scared or shy of Kyle and she kept on trying to force him to say hello to him

Amber-um yea im sick of each episode beginning with them being on good terms, then she overreacts and they are broken up, then at the end they are back together again. That poor baby caught in the middle of all that unnecessary drama

Farrah-yea that scam, anyone can see that coming from a mile away, but I still feel bad for her. She seems like she was never exposed to the real world and was always sheltered by her parents.

Catelynn-these two are the most grown up out of all of them, and correct me if I am wrong, but I believe they are the youngest out of all the teen moms. Good for them, it seems like they are moving passed this whole calling the ex bf thing now. I mean just seeing Catelynns mom and Tyler's dad, its amazing that these two kids turned out as well as they have!

Kyle looks a wee bit too much like Bentley in my opinion. When you see Maci & Ryan together Bentley is all Maci. But when Kyle and Maci are together I was surprised how much Kyle looks like Bentley.

Amber & Gary are the poor white trash version of Sammi & Ronnie. Leah always look flithy

Farrah - I can't with her anymore she got a pass with the hall b/c of the camera crews, but the sink and the falling off of the bed is simply inexcusable in my mind.

Tyler needs to get over it already. I think Catelynn & Tyler shouldn't do this show anymore, it's just a constant reminder if they made the right decision and instead of moving forward in their relationship & lives they are just round and round with the same regret & issues which each other.

Gary needs to grow a set and leave her. He continually keeps giving in to her and all it takes is a little crying and he is all over her.

I have to be honest, if I were Farrah on my own at that age, I never would have suspected fraud either. I just don't think an 18 year old's mind works that way. It was so sad to see her out all of that money. Especially when it's much needed money. But why did she want to sell the car? Did she really say to get power locks?

I used to really dislike Farrah but I feel like she is really growing up. Unfortunately, she will make mistakes with her DD. She's young, this is her 1st child and I don't really think her parents are good role models. So I truly think she has no idea what she is doing. She doesnt seem to have anyone to look to for advice.

That was really big of her to admit that she has been immature in the past. Also, I agree with a PP - at 18, I never would have thought it was fraud either. I would be way too excited and focused on getting a new car. I am also, a very trusting person.

Is it me or are most of the scenes staged? I can't imagine Farrah would have fell for that scam even at 18 years old and if so I would presume she would be more emotional about losing all that money. Just dosent feel authentic to me.
