Teen Mom's Catelynn Lowell Confirms Second Pregnancy With Baby Bump Picture
Congratulations are officially in order! Almost three months after Us Weekly broke the news that Teen Mom star Catelynn Lowell was expecting baby no. 2 with longtime boyfriend Tyler Baltierra, the reality star took to Instagram on Wednesday, Aug. 6 to confirm the news.
“#it'sofficial #4months @tylerbaltierramtv,” she captioned a black and white shot, cradling her growing baby bump.
Lowell, 21, first appeared on MTV’s 16 and Pregnant in 2009, where she gave birth to daughter Carly, now 5, and ultimately decided to give her little one up for adoption.
Lowell and Baltierra still keep in contact with the family who adopted Carly and documented the emotional process on Teen Mom.
In May, Lowell’s mother April Stotts exclusively confirmed to Us that her daughter was pregnant with her second child.
"She was crying when she knew for sure and so I was like, 'Are you happy? Are you upset?' And she was like I’m happy!,'" Stotts told Us at the time. “She’s keeping the baby.”
Lowell and Baltierra were engaged, but after appearing on season 3 of VH1’s Couple’s Therapy, the pair decided to call the engagement off.

I don't watch any of these shows but I feel like all these girls are having second kids?? And they are still so young

I watched their follow up special a few months ago and A LOT has changed. Tyler is cruel to her and angry. He seems like he doesn't want to be with her. He called the wedding off and was t sure if he wanted to be with others. She has terrible self esteem and just put up with him like a puppy dog. I was STUNNED at how much they changed. It's bananas to me that they're having a kid.

This exactly! I used to like Tyler, but he seemed incredibly angry throughout their special. I mean, we all know that editing does wonders, but he asked her for the engagement ring back. I was a little surprised when it came out that she was pregnant again. But again, we don't know what happened after the camera stopped.

I always knew her mom was trash but to do an interview and out your daughters pregnancy is disgusting (probably did it for drug money).

But, he asks her for the ring back, but then kneels down and asks her to marry him.
I think these girls are so very young and just are looking for unconditional love. I also feel badly for the baby they gave up. My roomate in college was adopted and just recently found her birth parents who are married and had 4 more children. So, she has 4 full biological children. If she wasn't dealing with issues before, she sure has abandonment issues now! It has been a really rough road for her!

Yeesh. I feel so bad for both of them - what I saw on the show was a needy, insecure young girl who was dealing with the fall out of giving up her baby for adoption and a young man who clearly wanted to be single and explore adulthood. I hope things work out.

I also feel badly for the baby they gave up.
At least their first baby has nothing to do with Catelynn's mother & Tyler's father.
Tyler always seemed pushy to me. It always seemed like he was convincing her to placing the baby for adoption was the right thing to do.

This girl makes me want to cry. I felt so bad for her that she gave her daughter up for adoption. She loved her baby so much, but felt she had no choice.
