Teething and diarrhea...
So Bella has been teething really bad this past week and really cranky since Wednesday, you can see the two little teeth SO close to coming through...just not yet...
But the past few days her poops have gotten looser and looser and I think that they are diarrhea now...but she has no fever and is eating her bottle and having wet diapers just like normal...is this related to teething? Should I call the doc and bring her in for loose poops?
She isn't going more than usual either...it's just that when she does...well, you know. Help...

Re: Teething and diarrhea...
The doctors will always tell you there is no "symptoms" that correlate with teething, only to cover their butts cause they dont want parents to over look any kind of illness. BUT when my daughter cut her teeth she had the classic runny nose and loose poops. I know TMI, but if the poop is stringy and mucusy (sorry) then that is diarrhea, if it is just looser than usual then that is from the excess saliva from teething. Does it seem like she has any other congestion in her chest or anything? If not I would say it is from the teething.. but if you are uncomfortable a call to the doc wont hurt. Hope that helps.
