Teething help...

My puppy (16 weeks) is teething...and chewing on our moulding (wood). I'm worried about what it can do to him. How can I not encourage that behavior?

He has toys, nylabone, rawhide (we give him one a week, but he's a beast with them)...

He gets exercise, interaction. But he likes corners with wood (banisters, moulding, etc.).

Any tips?

Re: Teething help...

You can try bitter apple. If that does not work you can also try pepper mixed with water & spray that. If that does not work, try curry.Chat Icon

Oh no I am sorry I did not want to scare anyone. Chat Icon

Yes I sprayed it on the actual wood. Just be aware that the curry will stain the wood over time.Chat Icon
