TEETHING...oh the joys!

My DS just got 2 teeth...which is all very exciting...but the pain, and sleeplessness that came with it were not!! Did you notice that after they got a few teeth, your DC started to sleep better?? DS is normally a GOOD sleeper, but the last 2 nights(as the tooth was coming in) he has been up EVERY TWO HOURS! Chat Icon Chat Icon
Please tell me it gets better.

Re: TEETHING...oh the joys!

My DS just got his 2 bottom teeth w/in a week from each other. He had a couple of bad nights for each one, waking up about 5-6 times over night. But, he just needed his binky & then went right back. After the tooth broke through, he sleeps like a log.Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: TEETHING...oh the joys!

We've been going through the same thing here. DS is 20 months old and I think the canine's are coming in, I don't know, I don't keep track of the names of the teeth. But for over a week now he's been tossing and tossing around in his sleep. He always tosses and turns but this time it's continuous and non stop because it looks like he can't get comfortable. Two teeth have cut through but I think that his eyes are starting to look like he's been lacking sleep or maybe it's all in my mind that his eyes look like that. At he sleeps well during his naps, because he's exhausted...

I hope his non stop tossing and turning is due to his teething because like I said this has been going on for over a week now.

Re: TEETHING...oh the joys!

Marron never had much trouble with teething in the past, but last week she was cutting her eye teeth and MAN OH MAN...she was up 3-4 times a night, often crying inconsolably even with medication to help her. Now that the teeth are in, she is still getting up 3-4 times a night, I think just because she is used to it!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

OH NO!!! I hope that my little man starts to sleep tonight. Both teeth have now popped through on the bottom so I hope that he is ok tonight. Mommy and Daddy are extremely tired today, and I will be going to bed when Tyler does hopefully at 7pm!!!!
