Tell me about temping....
I'd love to know more about temping.
And let's be honest... you ladies are WAY smarter than google.
How exactly does this work? Pros/Cons? How many months before you can really understand your cycle? Effectiveness when paired with CBEFM?
Thanks everyone!

Re: Tell me about temping....
I will try my best. Testing is one of those things that get easier the more you do it. Basically the short of it is to take your temp as soon as you wake the same time every day before you do anything. So keeping your basal therm. by your bedside. Record your temp on one of the many websites like fertility friend and my monthly cycle. The pros - For me i can find out when i ovulated literally the day after. it gives me a record of my cycles. If my doctor is ever interested in seeing my cycle I have it. Cons - Taking your temp the same time every day. this works from Mon to Fri, but on the weekend its hard for me to wake up at 5:30 to take my temp.
After about two - three months you will start to see a pattern. You will know about when you will O and when your period is schedule to come. You will also notice things like "I O two days after my first positive OPK"
I don't use cbefm, so I can't comment on that.
