Tell me about your vacuum
Our vacuum broke and the repair shop said it is old and not worth fixing. So now I need a new one. I just moved to NC so I am unemployed. Anyone have an inexpensive one they can recommend? Thanks.

I second dirt devil I have two big dogs that shed, and it works pretty good after about 2 yrs. I have bought a lot of vacuums and this is the bets I've had you can probably get one at Walmart for about 60-80 bucks

I have an Eureka Boss. I got it from Amazon.com - free shipping no tax. They had the best price & it was one of the top picks on Consumer Reports.

We actually just bought a new one today. A Bissell from Walmart. We go through vacuum's all the time, mostly because of the dog hair.

Funny you should ask - I just made a recommendation to my sister and she just bought it today. I have a Eureka Boss 4870. It's rated as a consumer reports best buy ($140).

I have a 60 dollar kenmore and a 300 dollar roomba...BOTH ****! Maybe its just vaccuums in general...their expectant lives seem to be a day!!!!! ; )
