Tell me again...not feeling kicks at 19 weeks is...
normal? just occasional flutters. i think i will call the doc monday and just go in for the doppler. my level 2 isn't until aug 17, at 21 weeks. i'm trying not to worry but with some of the bad news we've heard recently i just worry.

My doctor said the average person starts to feel kicks at 20 weeks--and that's an average!

Re: Tell me again...not feeling kicks at 19 weeks is...
Totally normal- especially if this is your first! The baby is still small, give it a few more weeks to put on some more weight and you will be feeling stronger kicks for sure! Depending on which way the baby is facing, you may not be able to feel all the movements the baby is making. Don't worry at all, you're feeling flutters, so soon enough you will be feeling kicks!

Very normal! Once you start feeling them, it will be non-stop all day... unless I just have a hyperactive child. lol

At 19 weeks I still didn't feel too much movement. Now at 24 weeks I fell like the baby is dancing all day.

Re: Tell me again...not feeling kicks at 19 weeks is...
I felt the first kick @ 5am on the day I turned 20 weeks exactly!!
I was worried too and actually told the Dr. and she said give it another week and she was right.

Re: Tell me again...not feeling kicks at 19 weeks is...
This is my 2nd baby and I didn't feel much until after 20+ weeks.(they say you feel kicks earlier with your second) I definitely didn't feel anything until 20 weeks with my son either.

Re: Tell me again...not feeling kicks at 19 weeks is...
totally normal.
Also depends on the location of your placenta.
I had an anterior placenta with my daughter and didn't feel any movement until 27 weeks. I didn't feel constant movement until 30 weeks.
I have anteiror placenta with this pregnancy too (but also previa, so it's lower as it's covering my cervix), and I felt this baby starting around 23 weeks.

It's your first baby!! I am sure she's kicking away but you just don't really know what to feel for. The baby is fine!!
