Tell me how you really feel
So I am at a friends house today and we are discussing ttc. My other friends sister is there visiting and says to me
"well I hope you are planning on dropping some weight before you get pg. I mean you are really going to blow up like a cow."
 I had to do a double take when she said that. If it wasn't for my DS sitting next to me I would have given her a very colorful what for.
What I did say was "I would concern myself with the fact that your 25, live in your moms basement and have NO JOB! My weight should be the last on your list."
I wanted to sock her one.

The worst part is that as women I feel like we should all stick together, KWIM? Like for those of us that are having trouble, all of us should be sympathetic and empathetic because it could be any one of us dealing with it taking longer than we expected. So when someone acts like a jack@ss, its even more hurtful. Like who the F. are you? But for the grace of god you would be in my position and how dare you say something stupid. B*tch. LOL sorry just having a bad night!

Wow. I can't believe someone actually had the nerve to utter such hurtful words. I hope your friend (the girls' sister) put her in her place!
For what its worth, usually people like that say thins to make themselves feel better.

She shot me a dirty look and went outside for a while. We all just sat there shaking our heads.
My poor friend, her sister, was mortified. Especially since my friend is plus sized as well. She couldn't apologize enough to me that day. I told her not to worry about.
My girlfriend called this morning to tell me that my friend reamed her sister after I left.

It kills me... she is rude, you put her in her place and SHE shoots you a dirty look? There are just some people in this world that won't learn.. But kudos to you for being quick on your feet - I would have thought of something good to say 10 minutes later and then kicked myself in the butt for not saying it earlier! You are my HERO!
