Tellers steakhouse - A question about the different dining rooms

DH made reservations at Tellers, and they told him they can't "guarantee" the main dining room.

Is it worth it to go if you are not in the main dining room? I was debating on having him cancel the ressies if they can't guarantee. Since I have never been there before, I really don't want to be disappointed and have heard the main dining room is where you want to be.

What do you think? Thanks

Re: Tellers steakhouse - How important is it to be in the main dining room?

I have only been once and we were seated in one of the smaller rooms upstairs that over looked the vault. I have nothing to compare it to but I thoroughly enjoyed the dining experience.

I definitely prefer the main dining room. The seating upstairs is much closer together so that I felt like I was sitting on top of the couple next to us. For what we were paying, it felt way too crowded.

That doesn't sound nice to me. I don't know, part of me wants to cancel if they can't guarantee (it is the weekend after Valentine's day).
