Temp rise
If you are temping and have a distinct temp rise, does that necessarily mean that you ovulated? This is my 9th day with a big temp rise, however I have gotten negative opk's since CD10... For two days before the temp rise, I had such horrible pain on both sides of my low tummy, especially during sex. No signs of AF or a BFP... So does a temperature rise mean that you most likely ovulated or could there be another reason for the higher temps? Thanks! Just confused!

Re: Temp rise
Which day of your cycle are you on? Which day did the temp rise occur? If you've had 9 high temps, it sounds like you're about 9dpo, which would be a bit too early to test for BFP.

Re: Temp rise
I'm on CD 24 and my temps rose on CD 15.. I know it's much too early to test, I was just wondering if I had missed my surge on my opk or if there was another reason for the really high temperatures.. Thanks!

Re: Temp rise
Without seeing your chart I cannot say for sure, but it sounds like you ovulated. Remember that OPK's don't tell you if you ovulated, only temping and blood results.
If you want to post your chart I will look at it for you.

Re: Temp rise
I agree with everyone else here - if you could post your chart that'd be helpful.
It does sound like you've ovulated judging from your temp rise and what seems to be O pain. Are you sure you're using the OPK's correctly? I think optimum time to do them is in the evening? Do you drink a lot of water during the day? That could dilute your urine making the LH surge undetectible.

I will try to post it if I can figure it out I don't drink a lot during the day, but I know there was a day or two where I couldn't wait the entire 4 hours to pee, so that's prolly what happened. Thanks!

Re: Temp rise
Are you using FertilityFriend.com? If so, in the left hand menu, go to Sharing and click on Home Page Setup. At the top of that page, there is a url in the box - copy and paste that link here and we'll all be able to see your chart. If you cut and paste the web address in your browser, we'll only be able to see our own charts.
