Tempurpedic vs. Bob O Pedic mattess
anyone have either of these mattresses? We are thinking about getting the Tempurpedic but it is so expensive.
Your thoughts/opinions on either.

We hae the tempurpedic celebrity and I hate it!!! we're moving and told DH I want to put this in the guest room and get a new mattress..I'm always hot and I NEVER EVER get hot!!!

We have the Bob-O-Pedic firm mattress, and we love it. One of the best pieces of "furniture" we've bought. Very comfortable, no motion transfer, and DW loves having multiple comforters on anyway, so the extra heat is sometimes a good thing.

We have the Tempurpedic Classic and we love it. It is very firm but we like it firm. IMO As far as the heat I didn't bother me at all this summer and our bed room is in the upstairs of a cape which gets very hot during the summers. I tried out the Bob-o-pedic and did not like it. Yeah it cost almost half but I'd rather buy quality when it comes to my bed especially with a bad back.

This is why we didn't buy one. One of our friends has it and I was sweating in January with the window open.

We tried the Tempurpedic and Bob O Pedic - there is definitely a difference. We bought the Tempurpedic Classic. I really don't notice any heat issues with it.

I had the Bob O Pedic in a firm and it felt like I was sleeping on the sidewalk.
Now i have the plush and I love it but my back still hurts sometimes. I think mostly because the frame I have it on sucks, but thats another story.

we got the Tempur-pedic on Sunday....I am still unsure. WE got the classic and I think it is too firm

We jsut got the bob o pedic delivered today, ordered the firm but with the pillow top peice on top--I think it is the most high end one they sell. Our salesperson told us he used to work for SLeepy's and it was the equivalent to the Celebrity Tempurpedic.
I don't know if it's true but he said they are VERY similiar in terms of quality and what they are made of but with tempurpedic you are definitely paying to some extent for the brand name. My husband was hung up on getting a memory foam, I could have cared less but simply REFUSED to spend $5k on a mattress....
