Termites / exterminator
As my wife and I are both new to being a homeowner we were wondering the approx cost of an exterminator plan.
We were considering what someone was telling us that they come about 3 or 4 times per year to do some preventative measures.
Just trying to grasp the costs of all these things.

our exterminator charges $300 for a plan & he comes every month from april-august and does treatments. if you need extra treatments besides the once a month, its all included
we love him!!

What is the name of his buisness? Or is he independant?
Either way would you mind passing his info to us as we need to begin collecting this stuff.
Sounds reasonable price for once a month.
Stupid question, do you have to worry about termites in the winter time?

i dont have any of the contact info on me at work - he is through a private company... not like terminex or arrow
i'm not sure about termites during the winter - i know our issue was ants & he said that in the fall/winter the ants dont come around at all... i would imagine its the same for termites since they are insects too

our plan is $250 for the year....and they come 3 times a year (early spring, summer and mid fall) to check the traps. If they see any activity in the traps, the put in the treaterd wood (with the stuff to kill them) then they came back to check it in a week or so after that.
We use Innovative Terminte & Pest Control

We have a guy who is $450 per year. He comes 1 x per month and sprays the perimeter of our house. He also comes on an as needed basis. If we renew each year, our price never goes up.
