Testing Early
Hi Girls, I am reading up on TTC and charting. Just curious (because I keep finding different answers) what is the earliest you can test and get a BFP? Thanks!

Re: Testing Early
I think implantation can take up to 13 days to occur, so you have to give the hormones enough time to build up to register on a HPT.

maybe I'm reading it wrong - but isn't two weeks before AF when you ovulate?? Do you have a really long cycle?

No, not reading it wrong. I planned my first one and tested immedietly after I concieved (yes I was insane about becoming pregnant then ) got a negative test, two days later tested 4 times and all got postivie results. I have high amounts of hormones in my body (as we alll do when pregnant, however mine is unusually higher than avg., thus leading to my second pregnancy with a loss) ((that's another story of explaing hyperemisi gravadarm). anyway, with my second pregnancy I just knew after a week from conception that I was pregnant and took the test. Positive results and 1 week and 5 days prior to my cycle being due.
Just expressing my experience, obviously not everyone is like this.
