Tethered spinal cord?
Anyone have any experience with this...
My BF dd (she just turned 1 year old) has a hemangioma (sp) right above her butt (it is called a cutaneous lumbar hemangioma)
her dd JUST began bearing weight on her legs and does not cruise or walk yet. My BF is being sent to PT but from her research, the hemangioma alot of times, goes hand in hand with a fused spinal cord
does anyone know anything about this?
TIA

Re: Tethered spinal cord?
I haven't heard of it but I have heard of hemangiomas causing complications with organs.
Repost: This is, obviously, the rare & extreme case of a hemangioma : NY magazine's article
