Texas Wedding
We are invited to a wedding in October in Texas. The dress is semi-formal to casual. Any suggestions? I need to dress myself, DH and 2 kids.

I would wear the same thing to a casual/semi-formal wedding here. Since it is October and in Texas it will be much warmer outside..so def. take that into account.

San Antonio is pretty far south so it is still going to be really warm then. Enjoy!

Hmm. I would probably wear a sleeveless, kneelength cocktail dress, probably more on the non-black, non-beaded side because of the dress code. For the kids, I'd do a sundress for a girl and khakis and a short sleeved, collared, button-down shirt for a boy, and for DH dark slacks, and either a button-down shirt and tie (no jacket), or a short sleeved button-down shirt.

Went to BIL's wedding in Houston and TX guests were wearing sundresses w/ rubber flip flops , jeans with button down shrts and one guy even wore a tee shirt...i sh*t you not!
Boy did I feel overdressed in my long black gown and heels!
Half the room was casual Texans...teh other side was our family from NY in cocktail dresses and suits. It felt very Green Acres LOL
I wouldnt stress it- I experienced how laid back TX can be 1st hand!
