TGI Fridays in Levittown
Is opening today. I met a chef trainer on Saturday night who told me about the whole thing.
Friday and Saturday they gave away food as part of a promo. How come I didn't know about that?
The place holds about 300 people. It's slated to be busier and more profitable than the Westbury location.
The guy was from Baltimore and he goes around training when they open new locations.
Next he's going to Florida.

I had high hopes that restaurant was gonna be a Carrabba's... not that I live on LI or anything but when I visit my mom we'd TOTALLY go. We are CRAZY about Carrabbas. Guess we gotta continue to shlepp out to Central Islip!!
There are a gazillion Fridays out there....we need more Carrabba's!!

I'm happy about the location. The closest Fridays is in Huntington and then Westbury and it's about 15-20 minutes. This is now 5-10 minutes away.
Carrabas is in Smithtown too. I haven't been to the one here. I have been the ones out of state. Very good but there is a lot of competition for chain Italian restaurants since there are stand alone restaurants here that are so good.

DH's brother's friend works in the shopping center and they gave each store in the shopping center cards for free meals. You needed a card and you needed to make reservations to get the free meals. They covered everything but alcohol.

I had Carrabba's in Alabama. The food was SO good.
