TGIF's (the restaurant)

I'm going tonight w/ a bunch of friends, I never really go there, just looking to see if anyone has any recommendations that they really like there. I looked at the menu & nothing really jumped out at me. TIA!

Re: TGIF's (the restaurant)

Last time we went, they had fried macaroni and cheese for an appy, they were really good. Dinner, I always get something with the Jack Daniels sauce. I love their sesame jack chicken strips. Now I want to go there tonight!Chat Icon Have fun!!

I have such a hard time finding something I like there! Everything is so heavy or fried. I usually opt for a salad and a really yummy drink!

Re: TGIF's (the restaurant)

The other day, I had the $12.99 3-course meal special. I ordered the Mac & Cheese wedges (very good) and the Chicken dish with tomato salsa & angel hair pasta. The chicken was EXCELLENT!! I would def order that again!

Re: TGIF's (the restaurant)

I was pleasantly suprised by the TOP CHEF meal ...it was made on the show and was introduced into the restaurant.

It was grilled portobello sandwich with roasted red pepper soup

A different take on grilled cheese and tomato soup

I'm surprised nobody said the potstickers. They are by far the best!

Re: TGIF's (the restaurant)

We went last weekend and I had the pecan crusted chicken salad...SO good! It came with the chicken strips, romaine greens, blue cheese crumbles, and chopped walnuts with balsamic dressing.

Re: TGIF's (the restaurant)

Ok, just got home. The meal was SO good. We ordered a butt load of appetizers. I loved the mozzerella sticks and Jack Daniels sesame chicken strips! I didn't have any, but some of my friends loved the fried green beans and potstickers. I got Jack Daniels ribs & mashed potatoes for entree. It was delish. I practically had to roll myself out the door thoughChat Icon Thanks again for the recommendations!
