Cha Ba in Long Beach is excellent. Small place. Cute, nothing fancy. The food is great.

Re: Thai restaurant in Nassau
A few weeks ago my husband took me to a thai restaurant in hunington.
Very small place. Not a very modern look to it. Very old school. Which btw non of this bothered me. I think it gave it some character
The food was great!!!!! We can't wait to back !!!
Sri Thai 14 New St Huntington, NY 11743
(631) 424-3422
almost forgot it was so good it took me a week of searching online recipes to find something close to what we had so i can make it at home. i will post that recipe later

There is a very authentic Thai place in Williston Park on Hillside Ave. They also have a location in Queens. It is called Sri Pra Phai Thai Restaurant

Are you willing to go to Queens? Ayada in Woodside has the best Thai food outside of Thailand in my opinion.

If you want to come to Eastern Queens there are 2 really great ones: BKNY on Francis Lewis Blvd. and Erawan on Bell Blvd.

Re: Thai restaurant in Nassau
I've been to the one in Williston Park. My BF is a huge Thai fan and has recently turned me on to Thai. It was my turn to pick our date night spot about 2 months back, and I picked this place.
HUGE disappointment. Their menu isn't like other Thai places we have been to, so definitely look it up before you go. My BF, who will usually eat anything & try new things, had a really hard time finding something to eat. When we did order, his meal came a full 30 minutes before mine did. It was such an awkward 30 minutes. At first we thought my meal was coming right out, so he waited to eat. But then we kept waiting and waiting, and nothing. He finally gave up and ate his. When my meal came, he was already done.
I wouldn't go back. Not only for the service, but for the food choices and quality.

Re: Thai restaurant in Nassau
Frankly Thai in Franklin Square - open around 2 years, byob and awesome food. Very reasonable and authentic - I think they were featured in Newsday a few months ago.
ETA: order the garlic duck you won't regret it :)
