Thank God For Health Insurance
I was looking at the pamplets from the drugstore and the estimated cost of one of DS's meds was almost $500! $500 for a bottle of liquid!! A generic one at that! I feel so sorry for people that don't have RX coverage  It sort of makes me sick how much drug companies charge for medicine.

It is pretty crazy!!! I always feel bad for the elderly who are on fixed incomes and a ton of meds.
Summer, how is DS feeling today?
I hope he recovers quickly!

He's doing okay. He's sleeping and I felt bad that I had to wake him up for more meds!

I know what you mean! Last year when I was on Zofran it was $900 for 30 pills My OB prescribed that to last me 7 days and I would have to make it last 21 b/c insurance wouldn't cover more than 30 pills in a 21 (or 28) day span.
I am glad he is home with you guys though.

When I was PG, my Zofran IV pump was $12K a MONTH...and I was on it for over 4 months. I would have not made it without it, can you imagine?
One time my RX was all screwed up ( when I was on the pill form) and I had to pay for 5 days worth of pills Out of pocket and it was almost $600!
