I would brighten the picture on the left (use Curves - Ctrl+M).
Can you try the Thank You green border on the left side?

Thanks.. I will it a try. I haven't messed with the pictures yet because i dont have the jpegs from my camera right now...those are saved from snapfish.
i'll try the border though

Can you put a light pink border (the one in the circles) around the picture to the right? (now that I see the circle is right up to that, can you do a very thin green border?

personally, I think it's a smidge too busy with 2 photos... while the eating cake picture is adorable, I think the layout would be better with the one larger photo, and the text (turning 1 was so much fun) raised higher on the right side (with her name staying where it is now).

I think if you had the copy on two lines, as opposed to three it would look better, e.g.
Turning ONE
Was so much FUN
You'd need to change the font size, but try it out and see how it looks. Also, you can probably do away with the smaller pic if you needed more room.
