I can't remember who recommended the medical supply place, but my new freestyle was covered at 100%!!

some insurance companies will cover medical equipment... either a certain % or the entire thing... you need to call and ask them... it is different for every policy... HTH!

I'm not planning on BFing but I called my ins to see what if anything would be covered. On my plan I would have to pay a $100 deductible to get a breastpump. It's covered under my durable medical equipment policy.

azoodie recently posted about Edge Park (medical supply) and having the pump possibly covered. Unfortunately my insurance company doesn't cover it at ALL, but a lot of LIFers called and found out they are covered 100% or at least somewhat covered.

I had looked into this when I was pregnant with DD, but my insurance company would only cover the cost of the pump if they had evidence the baby had been in the NICU. I know some insurance companies require that.
