I have no advice because I totally think you did the right hting by calling the dr.  I'm so sorry you have to even think about this, but always go with your gut.

what kind of bruise? I've found unexplained marks on E, on days when she's just with me. She's up and down so much these days...

If your child gets ANY injury the daycare must notify you when you pick them up. I have to sign something that says I was notified.
I am sorry that you have to even doubt your care giver. If all they did was tell you about the bottle thing you would not have been so upset. let us know what the dr says.

I will say there has been a bunch of times DS has gotten a bump or scratch and I cant tell you how he got it, and I am with him all the time...
Once they got mobile- its all down hill...
Truthfully- Im sure everything is fine BUT when it comes to your child you can never be too sure!

This is just my point. Did I do the right thing by calling the dr? I don't want them to get in trouble if they did nothing wrong, yet I feel I have to protect my DD. UGH.
Of course you did the right thing. It's your child! I would be a nervous wreck too! And if she got 2 bruises, they SHOULD know how she got at least one of them....

You definately did the right thing calling the doctor.
I can remember being embarassed to ask the ped to check out Andy's throat at his 1 week appt b/c I was all freaked out since the cord had been wrapped around his neck 2x and I thought I heard wheezing when he was breathing. The ped said he was fine and it happens to a lot of babies, but to never question bringing things to a doctor's attention if we are concerned. He stressed that especially now when they can't talk for themselves, we must be their advocates.

you did the right thing. Kaitee has been pulling up and walking while using funiture for 2 months. She has fallen tons of times. she gets scrathes and brusies on her face/forehead. But I have never seen a bruise on her butt. She has fallen hard lots of times on her butt and even has cried and and kind of knocked the wind out of her but it didn't bruise (I think the diaper makes her fall softer). I would have doen the same thing if I found one on her butt!
