DUDE. HOW DO I GET AN INVITE?! (or at least leftovers mailed to me?)
I can't even find them pre-made in stores. The guy at Uncle Guiseppes last year didn't even know what they were. I wrote a whole thread about it, even.
Are there any turnip support groups? I think I have a problem.

Not sure yet, might go to a friends in Brooklyn or we might go out and go the movies.
What's your favorite dish?
Stuffing or homemade cranberry sauce with walnuts.
If you eat turkey, do you prefer dark meat or white meat?
White meat.
Do you like leftovers or is once enough?
Leftovers, sometimes you can enjoy leftovers better than the actual Thanksgiving meal.

Do you have to work on Friday?
Yes, from 9:30 - 1:30.

TURNIPS!! Ahhh how I love thee. My mother would make them every Thanksgiving and I don't know anyone who goes through the hassle anymore. The last time we tried, they came out terrible and I sliced my thumb open.
I love turnip and they are a lot of work to make, but nobody else likes them so its not worth it on thanksgiving for me to make them

OMG, mine too. I don't get it?? Are you Irish by chance? My Nana used to love them too and she was off the boat so I'm thinking maybe that's it?

Heading to my mom and dad's like we do every year. We don't spend time with DH's family at all during the holidays, there is no relationship with them. (Thank GOD)
