Re: Ladies that are having or have girls please come in! Nursery ?
Our nursery is a light butter yellow and the furniture is white....
we have lots of pinks and turquoise and lime green and GORGEOUS chandelier... It's a total princess room.
I didn't want to overdo it with pink walls!! This looks girls but sophisticated
I've got to take pictures eventually

For the first set, I think yellow would be a really pretty contrast and you could bring hot pink accents into the rest of the room.
My very good friend had the same bedding in the second picture and she painted the walls a lavender to match. It came out so pretty.
I'm confused, why do you have two bedding sets? Are you undecided or are you going to mix and match?

I have light pink (very light) it's called touch of pink by BenMoore.
The furniture is white. My accnts colors are sages green. cream and darker pinks. That's why I went with such a light pink - I still wantd to bring out pink. It's not over kill and looks very girlie but not babyish.

Thanks... maybe I should really consider the yellow idea more.... maybe yellow with really pale pink stripes? Would yellow go with bedding set #2?
The reason for the two different sets is.... well for one I really loved both. DH isn't a fan of #1 but that was my favorite and #2 was his favorite so it was also a compromise.
I also did the same thing with DS... I had two bedding sets b/c I also get really bored. I mean people usually have at least two comforters/bedding sets for their bedroom right? Change for different seasons or whatnot.... I just think its nice to change it up once in awhile.
Ah, I see.
Unfortunately, I cannot think of a color that bridges these two sets. If anything, I would do yellow and decorate around the first set and just keep telling DH that you will switch off the sets but somehow never find the time to get around to it!

I love yellow and pink... our nursery is yellow (BM Sweet Pear) with white wainscoting on the bottom half of the wall and the main color of our bedding is pink.
(pic is from when it was set up as a guest room)

Re: Ladies that are having or have girls please come in! Nursery ?
We wanted neutral too, so we went with BM's Philadelphia Cream. It's not *very* yellow but more of a buttery yellow I guess. I have pictures in my Nursery album, and I just posted some more below in a thread.
Our bedding is a soft pink and cream, but I agree with Camacho, I love pink and yellow and if we got a brighter pink bedding set, I think it would go nicely as well.
