Thanks for all the help...my big haircut is done!
I needed 10 inches but I got 12.........I went back to Rob at Salon 3028, who has done my hair before. I'm very happy with the cut and choice of salon!!!! If I can do this, anyone can. I have NEVER had hair this short in my entire life and I am 43!!!!!!
Today before my haircut. This WAS short by my standards. For years it was always at the top of my jeans. I'll have to post some pictures from my late 20s (I was 60 lbs. lighter and had waist length hair!!). I went a bit shorter after my son was born, then started to grow it again.

That is a great cut and very flattering on you.
I had long hair myself for awhile and recently began doing the Jennifer Aniston mommy-chop and feel that it looks so much healthier and flattering.
I look like a grown up now I think vs. when I would just throw it back in a dull and drab pony-tail.

This is a weird thing to say but while it makes you look more grown up you look about 10 years younger at the same time! LOVE it!!!!

Thanks everyone. Now b/c I suddenly have so many photos of myself, of course I see every flaw I have. But I am still happy with the haircut!
