So our office is on the route of the parade. Apparantly our boss invited a bunch of our clients to the office.
It would have been nice if they told me. I would have dressed more formally and actually blew dry my hair.

Men don't think about these things, remember?
I always used to keep a suit in my office just in case - maybe you should do that, and bring a hair dryer/straightener, just for emergencies?

I do have a suit- and a few extra jackets. But I am wearing a big bulky sweater. But while ideally I would be dressed fantasically chic and professional to meet clients, my clothes are fine. (Knee length skirt, boots and a sweater).
But I may think about keeping a hair dryer and straightener here.

That is so aggravating! I also keep some extra makeup and hair products at my office for "emergencies"!

Re: Thanks for not telling me that our clients were coming in today
This is one of my biggest pet peeves. Normally, no one comes in to our office so we don't have to always look top notch. But when someone is coming in, I personally like to look my best. Why is it so difficult to send everyone an email letting them know clients are coming in?
