Thanks to Tilde, DS thinks the ice cream man is the music man
So, Tilde music/man ice cream man is a complete hit. Ds runs to the door when he comes. I say, "ah, there goes the music man, say bye-bye" ds replys with "bye-bye ma man" thats music man in ds language.
Dh said I was mean, and taking away a childs joy...I say go me for not having ahyped up 2 year old a half hour before bed.

 now that's brilliant!
Ds discovered ice cream truck, when we were at the playground and truck rolls by, rings bells plays songs, and the entire mob of children run screaming ice cream. He doesn't know exactly what it is, but he knows its something really good.

Yep!!! I tell him "uh oh, no more ice cream!" and he looks up at me and wipes his hands and says "ALL GOOOOONE!" it's hilarious!!!!!!

One of my friends told her kids that when the music is playing the ice cream man is out of ice cream and its his way of saying he has to fill up and come back later lol

My friend tells her kids this too!!!! I think its awesome...and too late for me b/c at 8 pm when the ice cream man comes down my block DS starts yelling I WANT ICECREAM!!!

I tell my kids the ice cream man only plays music when he is sold out of ice cream. That works a treat!

I started to say it too and now DS dances as he goes by! Granted he's only 18 months old, but I hope it lasts for years!!!!
