That blueberry croissant puff..

Nervousnell, thank you again for that recipe. I've made it twice now and everyone goes nuts!
I made it for today's brunch, and tweaked it to taste: (doubled the recipe)
I added the zest of 1 lemon
Added almond extract
Imported mascarpone instead of cream cheese
Sliced almonds on top

LOL! So funny you posted this. I just made it again yesterday for brunch and everyone went nuts again.
I keep telling them how easy it is to make, but they don't believe me. I'm like no really- it's so super simple, it's insane!

Re: That blueberry croissant puff..

I did make this yesterday also. I used raspberries and blueberries.

My cream cheese was chunky. I Probably mixed it when it wasnt soft enough.

I guess I will use Mascarpone next time. Chat Icon

I soften my cream cheese in the microwave and you really have to blend it well with the electric hand mixer. Like when you think it's blended enough, keep going.
I still get a few small specks, but nothing too chunky

Re: That blueberry croissant puff..

I am making this again in June for something.
I am not giving up.

I will def soften in the Microwave. I know that was my biggest issue.

Thanks.
