That is it...
I am switching my friggin doctors. I am so tired of waiting for an appt a month in advance. I go to University Obstetrics and Gynecology on Stewart Ave and Garden City. I dont even think my doctor is attentive to her patients at all. She didnt even call me after I had my MC and she hasn't even called to check up on me. I didnt even see her not once when i was going through my MC she passed me off to the other doctors like Dr. Scavo ( i really really like her by the way) I wish she was my OB.

Can you just change to Dr. Scavo?? I know where I go, it is a group...they encourage every pregnant woman to go to see each dr. as they never know who will be on duty when you deliver. I really dislike one of the Drs, and therefore will not take an appt with that particular one...but the rest are great!! Wishing you lots of babydust...I hope all is well with you!!

I used to go to them- and I saw Dr Scavo. I did love her, but I hated that I had to wait like 2 months for an appointment.
Can you switch from your doctor to Dr Scavo?

Unfortunately this is a common issue with Dr's When I had my 1st m/c I was a Suffolk OB/GYN. I would never go back. They were horrible to me and treated me like I was too high strung. I switched to a new ob who I love-Dr. Somers in Smithtown. In Nassau I have heard good things about Dr. Hanauer. Unfortunately the medical community is not extremelty sensitive whne it comes to m/c because they see it all the time

ugh, this stinks. Definetly switch. Shouldn't think about it, just do it. I switched doctors for my second pregnancy and I couldn't be happier. i think dr.'s need to be more patient and understanding to first time moms. It's the norm unfortunetly.

How horrible! But you're right, I guess they become hardened to it, unfortunately!
I use Suffolk OB/GYN, hoping I have a better experience there. I love my Dr. there, but haven't really worked with any of the other doctors.
Glad you found someone you like better!
