That Parental Alienation thing....
....I just dont understand why someone would do this to their kids????
CRIMINY!!!!!!! I have 2 "daddies" to deal with...And I have never ever spoken a single derogatory word towards them or their girlfriends or their family in front of my girls.
All in all we get along for the sake of the kids. Mostly b/c Im not an argumentative person and I feel it's important for us to be friendly with one another. I deal with a lot of cr@p from time to time....My ex DH who makes a ton of money and who Ive been divorced from for 13 years still calls my Child Support blood money any chance he gets ...
Can someone please explain this to me...Why would you purposely hurt your kids?

I don't know it doesn't make any sense to me. I know a family where the mother rewards those kids that alienate their father (and punish the ones who don't). Now some of the kids won't even speak to the dad. It's so sad.

Re: That Parental Alienation thing....
The mere mention of that word makes me cringe- my poor DH is a victim of this and the heartbreak he has endured makes me ...I would need a year and a day to go into it- all I can say is how sad it is

Re: That Parental Alienation thing....
You are very good to their fathers. I speak to you fairly often and you don't bash them and you definitely don't bash their girlfriends because I didn't even know they have girlfriends!!!! You've told me facts and that's it. However, I am more than willing to come up with appropriate nicknames for everyone involved.

Actually Ariel's father is married..I think..he says he is..dont know if it's true or not...but that's a whole other story. I dont think the other one currently has a girlfriend right now...at least not one the girls know about.
I mean I cant say that it's all happy happy kissy kissy with them but for the sake of the kids we grin and bare it!!!
PS...I have nicknames...

Re: That Parental Alienation thing....
We went through this with my DH's ex. Our game plan was to not let it get to us and NEVER say anything bad about their mother to the girls. Her plan backfired, though, when she decided she wanted to move them out of state & he fought for custody & won! She left the state 5 years ago & rarely sees them. The girls know who takes care of them & when they are adults they will realize what was going on.

ugh, what a poor excuse for a mother....why make your children suffer cause you had a baby with a loser (if that is the case)
I think the MOST selfish thing you can do to a child is get them involved in your personal sh!t...I know from experience, it SUCKS for the kids
one day, that woman you speak of, will be lonely cause her children are going to wise up and hate her one day
