I don't feel this way during that time, however you could be feeling more lethargic due to the loss of iron during that time. Maybe eat rich iron foods a few days prior and during and see if that happens, or just be more aware of your iron intake.
Just a thought. Hope you find something that helps

Yes sometimes i get tired during that time. I usually try to eat alot of proteins. And just push through. However, sometimes i just allow myself to rest. Its ok to do that. Your body needs a rest now & agan. I just dont like to rest more then two days. Then get right back to it. Good luck!

The hardest part during "that time" is motivating myself to go. Once I'm at the gym, warming up, and my heart starts pumping it's like any other workout. But getting up off the couch is so much harder!
So I just try to remind myself that I'll be ok once I get there, and that I'll be happier for having gone.

Usually it is just the day before and day of. Sometimes I get motivated. Other times, not. But 2 days of rest are not harmful.

Usually, I am not more tired, but I do get a migraine at least one day when I have AF. I usually go running that day anyways. IK start off slow and I swear the endorphins clear up my headache.

Running a few times a week right before AF is due and while she's here definitely helps with cramps and boosts my energy level.
