That's right, NY is famous for there cheese cakes
So where in LI is a good place to get a cheese cake.. I'm watching Emeril and he's making one now.

whistle stop in Oceanside.
I've also heard good things about the Cheesecake Factory but I don't know b/c I've never been there myself.

Yes, I've been there. They are good. Many different toppings you can get too.
ETA: You know what... I just remembered the last time I bought a cheesecake, I went to Waldbaums and they have an AMAZING one. It is about 6-8 inches in diamete and they put a chocolate layer on top. It is seriously delicious.

ITA, Mr. Bill's is VERY good. He has alot of different topping sto choose from. You can also get a sugarfree cake.

Love a good Cheesecake... I had the best one yet in San Francisco once at the Cheesecake Factory. The Cheesecake Factory out hear isn't the same and not much to talk about...
