The 2ww, testing and craziness
I'm not sure who is still on here but I had been lurking on this board for quite a few months and I had asked some questions about the 2ww - you know why people get so crazy and think they have tons of pregnanyc symptoms and why people test so early before actually missing AF...
Well...I think I can relate now 
My DH and I only tried twice. It's my first month off the pill. We said we would wait because it's better for my body but we just couldn't resist  We also did it a few other times but he pulled out. The two times he did not was during what should have been my fertile days if my cycle was around 28 days give or take. Now I have 10 days until I am supposed to get AF and I have been feeling exhausted (also could be b/c i cut out caffeine), my nipples are super sensitive (could be b/c i am off the pill now), my boobs feel a bit larger & I've been getting slight cramping (again could be a symptom of stopping the pill b/c i also had spotting).
I think it's almost irrational to think I could have gotten pregnant but here I sit wondering away!
So i just wanted to say now I understand the craze...and when AF comes I think I am going to be a little disappointed. I am trying not to think about it but I can't stop myself! So I get it now

Yep your mind and body play tricks on you!!!
Last cycle when i KNEW it wasnt a possibility, i was feeling all these symptoms...
and this cycle when we had a great chance i didnt feel anything... until the day before AF was due... i even tested then and BFN... i didnt get BFP till AF didnt show the next morning...

It's nuts. I really didn't get it but now I do. I get the craziness. I get the wanting to know. I can see how you pick up on everything about your body that you think is "off". This is crazy!

omg!! how exciting!!! with dd#1, we weren't necessarily trying so i wasnt watching out for any symptoms.
when we were pregnant with #2 (miscarried around 6wks), i watched for everything..
i noticed the period -like symptoms, mainly cramps that i had with both pregnancies... i kept thinking af would show up any day with #1. with #2, i tested right away got a BFN, then i tested a few days later and got a BFP.
i had a feeling i was pregnant b.c at the time i was bfing dd and she kept making these faces when she would bf - like "w t f is up witn your milk lady!!?!??!"
anyhow, when we try again for #2, i know what to look out for and it will drive me crazy!

it's totally nuts...
it didn't help that my DH said to me that i look pregnant and different...i was like please don't get your hopes up, i think even he is going to be upset over it  it's so great and sweet that he is excited but him saying stuff like that will only make it hurt more if AF shows...
i can totally relate better to you guys now

I am in the same boat, I sware I have symptons too - I dunno though I am thinking it is all in my head you know? But I like to hope that maybe it is something. HOWEVER it is just way to early, the more I think about it the more i realize I am crazy. The baby hasnt even implanted yet so how could I have symptons??? I dunno I guess it is possible. I know some people who said their boobs started hurting RIGHT away though so you never know.
These are my symptons so far (I sware it is all in my head though) - cramping & tingly sensation, gassy, boobs hurt a little, a few hot flashes, pee smelled weird but only for a few days. Also today I feel irritabel and crabby like I am getting my AF but I hope not 
So hang in there and try not to test early. At least wait until 12 dpo. I tried today and got BFN but I still have a few days.

It is very frustrating the 2ww. You go back and forth with the symptoms. There are days you think you are preganant and days you don't think you are. I hate it.

the 2 WW sux in general but I think the 1st month of TTC 2ww was the WORST!!
try to keep yourself busy or else you will drive yourself crazy.

oh I hate the 2ww... So annoying! Every little thing I feel makes me think... I try to put it out of my head because I feel like I'm looking for symptoms... it's tough!

I agree. Im starting to get used to it and not think into things as much. Its almost better for me to stay negative about it so that each month when AF comes, its just business as usual.

lol you are SO me, and right around this time of year too! I have been following your posts and we are TWINS. How hard it was for me to come off the pill, how we were supposed to be waiting and then all of a suddent started TTCing anyway, how hard the wait was even though it was "fake" TTCing
I hope it is as quick for you as it was for me!
