The absolute hardest item of clothing to put on while pregnant.....
Stockings!!!!!
They weren't uncomfortable, but just picture it....
Me sitting with my big ol' round belly at the edge of my bed.......
Got the first foot in okay, then the second foot.....
After about 3 attempts I finally got my foot somewhat near the entrance to the stocking......I was slowly tipping over and almost crash landed face first into the floor.....
I don't even know how my foot got in there, but all I can say is I needed a nap after that fiasco....

I have a hard enough time with socks, you are a better woman than I for trying stockings!!!!

I TOTALLY AGREE....I HAVE TO WEAR COMPRESSION STOCKINGS EVERYDAY FOR MY VARICOS VEINS. TODAY WAS THE FIRST DAY ATTEMPTING TO PUT THEM ON AND I NEEDED A NAP AFTERWARD

I HATE wearing stockings/pantyhose when I'm not PG - there is NO way I would attempt such a thing now. You are a brave brave woman!!

OMG! Totally agree. I had to put them on for the first time since pg last Thursday - and it was in a public bathroom. I was setting up for an dinner event at a winery and then had to change. (don't ask about the torture of being at a winery and not drinking)
First of all - never thought about the fact that my pre-pregnancy stockings wouldn't fit quite the same!
Then I was trying to get into them standing (cause I didn't want to sit on the bowl)
It was laughable.

Thank God I haven't had to wear stockings.
I have not been able to put my Uggs on without DH's help. And all of my regular shoes don't fit. I'm still wearing flip flops around.

Have you tried the Spanx maternity stockings? They are pricey ($28) but worth it. I bought them for a wedding next week and they are totally comfy!

I agree. I hate hosiery!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I have to wear stockings to an event this weekend--3 weeks after C-section. I am dreading it. I can't imagine pulling them on, nor can I imagine dealing with the discomfort all night.

I had a wedding to go to this weekend and had to wear them. I actually had to have DH help because I couldn't get them on!! He is holding them and is like "what do I do with these? " It was hysterical.

Good for you for attempting that...I have a hard enough time with socks and have now given up on my sneakers because I can't bend far enough or long enough to tie them.
