the answer to next step!!! lol

i had all the same questions because i was thinking, well, maybe i should be giving this to DD when she is a year instead of milk, SO, i asked a few peds- they said "PLOY, NOT NECESSARY- it is just the formula people trying to make more money from you, knowing that once your child is a year, you no longer need them....!!" so i agree- they said in no way does your DC need this, especially bc they will be getting all they need and more from food and vitamins you give them (if u choose to do vitamins- i always think, hey, vitamins cant hurt...)

HOPE THIS HELPS YOU ALL, as i was in the same boat at the last apt for DD...!!!

It is not a ploy at all. My ped was very happy with my decision.

I will not be giving Andrew cows milk until he is about 18 months. The amount of vitamins, etc in Next Step is more then he would get with cows milk and more then regular formula.

It is basically for people that do not want to give their child cows milk but can't keep giving them infant formula because they need more vitamins.
