The Aruban Resort & Casino
Has anyone ever stayed there?
A friend of mine traded her Vegas timeshare, and booked a week there in October. All we have to pay for is airfare, which is awesome, but tripadvisor has bad things to say.
They are renovating, and the new rooms look really nice, but the old rooms look old and dirty. Also, it doesn't look like it's on the beach! I need the beach...lol

Its not directly on the beach...its behind my timeshare ( LaCabana beach and Raquet club) and then a short walk across a road to the beach.
There have also been issues between the 2 resorts as to who can use the palapas (sun huts) and the lounge chairs.
I believe that the last I heard the huts are for everyone to use but the chairs are only for the La Cabana guests/owners.
I've stayed in Aruba 2x - at Lacabana, Aruba Beach club, and La quinta.
My favorite was Aruba Beach club- smaller, quieter, directly on the beach.
