Eeek Eeek! I haven't watched it yet. Hehee. We tivo it and we're watching it later on once people come over. We have "Biggest Loser" nights at our house. Can you tell we like the show? I even have last year's best episodes burned onto a DVD.

He weighs over 350 lbs though!!! It's seriously like the equivalent of one of us ladies losing 4-5 lbs a week at weight watchers!!!
I hope Ryan goes home!!! She's such a whiney baby!!!

I have a few thoughts about this episode. I am wondering if Matt offered to train the ladies too b/c he is a good guy, or do you think it was a strategic move - for when the teams get merged later.
I found it interesting that the women who chose to give up Bob for the week were then blaming the other team members for not training them.
I wonder what we didn't see on the show since the men also chose Ryan to go home. I was teasing DH because he liked her and I kept saying, "OOOH, your girlfriend is going home this week!!" after the drama in the kitchen.
Although they didn't show him much this week, the doctor is my favorite - I would love to see him win it!

I like the doctor to!!! The guys were sitting at the table with the girls when Ryan made that comment about Bob not wanting to train the other girls anyway. So, they heard her start that catty bullcrap.
I think it's def interesting that the girls who trained with Matt, and not Bob, lost a lot more weight!!

It's interesting to see the women's weight losses too, because Jen lost 10 pounds this week and 0 pounds last week. I kept yelling "See, this is how is it for us women!" i think DH was going
Can you tell I have my own weight loss troubles?

Jillian just seems so much worse then last year. Like she's playing up the bitchiness and also trying to act like she cares at the same time, and when she does, she goes overboard big time.
I definately think that whether strategic or not, it was a great move for Matt to train the other women -- the teams will merge later on and he's trying to come out as a "leader." But keep in mind, some of them will play it as a game and that can make or break him.

I believe you have to pass the physical before you are accepted into the academy, but I don't think they do ongoing physical exams. My dad was a NYC firefighter and I don't ever remember him having to retake physicals exams either - maybe get a doctor's exam, but not the test where you have to lift the dummy up the ladder, etc.
I think that guy Mark from the show is a cop where he lives as well.
