The candidate's honesty issue
I am so sick and tired of people claiming that their reason for not liking HRC is because she is, to quote a comment on another post, a "shady, lying snake of a woman." This is just untrue. As a matter of fact, according to Politifact, she is the second most honest politician right now. Obama is #1. Here are some FACTS to back this up...
Politifact HRC
Now, compare that link to Donald Trump's.
Politifact Trump
For the people that won't bother to read these links, here is a summary.
Politifact graded more than 50 statements since 2007 for each of the candidates and this is what they found.
HRC statements: True 23%, False 10%, Pants on Fire 2%
Trump's statements: True 4%, False 35%, Pants on Fire 18%
FYI, Politifact is a pulitzer prize winning site.
There are MANY more examples of why Trump is MUCH, much more untruthful than HRC, but yet, people still believe that she is more dishonest.
Dislike her for her policy positions, dislike her because you don't like her laugh, voice, wardrobe, but don't dislike her based on something that is NOT true.

Re: The candidate's honesty issue
I'll agree that Trump is far less truthful. I dont agree with Hillary's policies on just about anything, which is why I wouldn't vote for her. But as far as honesty goes, I mean in the debate alone it was obvious. Yes, she exaggerated certain "facts", but Trump outright lied on more occasions than I can count on my two hands. It was pretty appalling. The worst is that he lies about things that he did or didnt say, and it's not very difficult to simply look it up and find when he said the things he's denying he ever said.

However, this is just going to fall on deaf ears. Or you'll get a few "media" and "biased" words in a response.

Hrc is a complete and utter liar. If people want to believe her lies, so be it. The media is 100 percent in her court and favor. So, if you believe her because the media does, think again.

Trump literally said that NOT paying his taxes "makes him smart". 45 minutes later when he was asked about that comment he said, "I never said that".
That's just one TINY instance of flat out lying. He makes things up as he goes along whenever he's talking, giving a speech, or engaged in a debate. People lie when they don't have a clue, that is Trump's "MO". Nobody said HRC is a saint but please don't be so naive and so steadfast in your convictions about what a liar she is without also recognizing what a complete liar Trump is.

I choose to believe facts from a Pulitzer prize winning website that is NON-PARTISAN. What part of that do you not comprehend? What FACTS do you have to base your claims?
And if the media IS on her side as you claim, do you know why??? Because the other candidate is a terrifying prospect for the presidency.

I rely a lot on FactCheck and Politifact- but with Trump, it's not needed. I saw the episode you referenced and I can't believe I was surprised- to be honest, I am beginning to wonder if he's dealing with the beginnings of dementia. I know his tweet about global warming and China has been brought up, yet he's still denying it.
He poses zero challenges to fact checkers. And yes, I do think there have been instances where she's skirted the truth, but it does not compare to his. At all.

The candidate's honesty issue
I really do not think that poll helps either candidate. If you tell the truth only 23% of the time or 4% of the time your still a liar. Both candidates suck and hopefully this election is teaching America that we need to revamp this political process so we are not in this same situation in 4 more years.

He denies mocking a reporter with a disability...which is on video, and is horrible. This is acceptable for a Presidential candidate?

What I wrote was a summary. If you click the links you see the full poll. There are actually 6 categories ranging from True to Pants on fire.
HRC True 23% Mostly True 28% Half true 22% Mostly false 15% False 10% Pants on fire 2%
Trump True 4% Mostly true 11% Half true 14% Mostly false 17% False 35% Pants on fire 18%
If you look at the scale, you see that HRC's numbers go from high to low and Trump's go from low to high. Am I saying she is always honest all the time, no. But, no politician is and it's foolish to think they will ever be. But, look at how little honesty Trump has. My point was just to show how the concept of HRC being this completely dishonest snake is false.

The candidate's honesty issue
I understand that some people don't like HRC. I'm a supporter of hers, but I can totally see why she turns a lot of people off.
I guess what I still can't figure out is why so many people think she is less trustworthy than Donald Trump, or for that matter, less trustworthy than any other politician who has ever run for president.

This is so true. It proves that both of them will lie if they need to (even if it's only 1% of the time). She isn't trustworthy just because she only lies 4% of the time.
I can't even imagine getting caught in a lie and being like "well I only lie 2% of the time so that makes it ok".
They are both liars. I don't think either one of them are presidential material.

I don't even know how people can overlook that. It wasn't a skewed video, it was his actions, his words, right there in black and white. I have many friends that are Trump Supporters, and when I ask how they can support someone who makes fun of a disabled person, it's crickets. Maybe they have those thoughts like he has though? Maybe they find that behavior okay because it's something they would do themselves. Who knows. But I find it disgusting.

So what is your option, then? Someone who lies or exaggerates 27% of the time, or someone who lies or exaggerates 70% of the time? (Counting just the Mostly False and worse)
Even Bernie lies about 31% of the time.
Trump has already been proven to have lied about what little classified information he has been given. That doesn't make it OK for Hillary, but it spreads out the anger against liars to everyone... and even moreso onto Trump, who lies more egregiously, much more often, and about potentially dangerous things, on a constant basis.

And Trump is what?? They are both liars but it's pretty obvious which one is worst. I don't care for HRC but I rather a 1 yr old run this country than Trump. Only garbage comes out of his mouth.
