Do you believe in this?

My grandma passed in October 07...my sister has dreamed of her several times and I haven't once...and we were very close. I always believed that if you dreamed of them they visited you.

My aunt died when I was 10 in a car accident and that night she "visited" me in a dream and actually said good bye to me. So now I'm still waiting for grandma...I miss her a lot.

I have had dreams with both my mother and father in them. Not lately though.....when I have the dreams, they feel very real

They night my Mother Passed away (she passed away in her sleep) I had a dream that she and my aunt and two grandmothers visited me . I knew that she passed away before I woke up.

My dreams are like reality to me and I never want to wake up from them.

A couple of weeks ago i had my first dream of my mother since she passed away a little over 1 1/2 years ago. We were sitting on the couch watching tv and i was lying down on her. All of a sudden she says, "what did you forget how to hug?" My dad and sister had dreams about her talking to them. Mine was just like a memory. Your grandmother will visit you soon, don't worry.

i have dreams w/my mom frequently. sometimes they are so real that when i wake up, i think she's still here. then reality kicks in within a minute....

I had a dream the night of my friend's memorial service last week. He was there with me, his family, and my family. He was giving out gifts because he was going away. He said that he was sad to be leaving everyone but was happy about where he was going.
I like to believe that he was visiting me to tell me that he was happy.

DH had a dream about his mother once. He used to picture himself and his friends walking down the street like David Banner did at the end of the Hulk. His friends would each eventually go with their SO's (now wives) and DH would be alone. One time he dreamed that I was there and his mother was also. He went to go to his mother and she indicated that he should go towards me. I hope that makes sense.

I've had two vivid dreams of my dad in the past month. He looks all healthy and happy and he's talking to everybody. I'm always sort of off to the side saying "You can't be here, you're gone." The last dream he just said "No, I'm back. All of it is gone (the cancer)." Then I start to cry because I know it's not true and nobody will listen to me.
I didn't get to do a lot of mourning when my dad passed away.(7 months ago). I'm still bitter about being firmly pushed to the sidelines by my older sisters during Dad's last months. I try to just push it aside and get over the whole thing but I guess with his birthday coming up it's only natural that I would dream about him. I don't think it's a visit though because even though I had a fine relationship with my dad I would not be the one he would choose to visit.

My mom died a little over a year ago and usually when I dream of her it is still about her funeral. My last dream was about two weeks ago and it basically was reliving the day of her death through to her funeral which had me sobbing when i woke up. I keep waiting for her to visit me in my dreams but I will wake up feeling peaceful not so sad. i do believe that after my mom died and my Dh and I were travelling back to NY my mom visited me in the hotel room. I woke up because i felt somebody touch me and I though it was DH getting up to go to the bathroom but he was sound asleep next to me. I believe in my heart of heart it was my mom checking on me. Does that sound silly?

I have lost quite a few friends young. They all came to visit me in my sleep to tell me something after they passed. My one friend would come every once in a while just to sit and smoke cigarettes with me in my dream. I love when they come.

My grandpa died in 96 and I have never dreamed about him. Of all places, on my honeymoon this past July I had a dream about him. When I woke up I and thought about why I had such a wierd dream I realized I woke up on the day that he died 11 years ago.

I really feel that that was him just saying hi in my dream

I have had a few with my Dad. One after I got pregnant and I told him I was having a baby and he said I know! I asked him if anyone else was going to have a baby and he said yes..there will be 2 boys before April....Well I had my boy in September and my brother had his in March!!!


My grandfather came to my husband after we booked our wedding date...(he never even met him, DH knew him only from pictures) and he had a necklace around his neck with a 16 charm on it...We booked 8/16! I took it as he wanted to tell me he knew I was getting married and he would be there!

When ever a deceased friend or family member visits, I am the only one who usually can see them. When my grandma visits me, she doesn't realize she is gone.

I've had them with my grandparents. Haven't had them for a long time, but I remember I really liked them b/c it was like I saw them again and it was very comforting. I've read somewhere it is a natural part of the grief process.

I believe in this alos. My dad passed a way 7 weeks ago. I have had two dreams with him in it since. The only thing about the dreams was that I only saw his profile.
