The dog park = pool of mud!

The dog park we go to at Blydenburgh was muddy two weeks ago and it is just as bad currently. It looks like it is going to take a while to dry out... I hope it is soon! Char has the spring fever - the poor thing.

We did, however, take her to Gardiner's Park which wasn't bad at all - hardly any mud and lots of grass for her to run around - but a lot of people do not clean up after their dogs Chat Icon which really isn't right.

She had a ball though so that's what counts.

Anyone been to Blydenburgh lately? I would $uck it up, bring her and just give her a bath afterwards but Charlotte *HATES* getting dirty.

So, if you are planning on going - I'll save you the car ride - wait a few more weeks and try again! Chat Icon

We actually went about 2 weeks ago. It wasn't too bad. Just a few small puddles in the small dog park (we didn't go in the big dog park).

My dogs HATE getting dirty too (although they will eventually dig if they see other dogs doing it).

We recently went to Coindre Hall in Huntington. What a gorgeous view, have you ever been?

Yes! We love it there during the summer - beautiful and then we walk the village afterwards!

We went yesterday - we walk the trails, and take Scout to swim in the lake.

Yes! We've done that! It is a lot of fun but if we can't do the dog park AND that Charlotte gets upset. Meaning, if we take her into the park and she sees the sign she knows where she is headed - and we tried to go and just walk her on the trails and she cried lol she just loves other dogs.

So, we usually just go to the dog park first and then do the trails - she does everything that your dog does BUT jump in the water - she wants NOTHING to do with that water and getting wet lol it is so strange!
