The end is in sight!
So I am 2 days past my due date & I went in for a non stress test today. I have been 1 cm at my last two appts & nothing seemed to be happening at all. Well I get to the doc office & I go to the bathroom to give my urine sample. Guess what I find? A bloody show on my panty liner! I was SO suprised! So I tell the doc this & she agrees that this is a good sign. So she does my internal & I am only 1 1/2 cm dilated. Not much progress from last week but better than nothing. So she proceeds to strip my membranes (to hopefully help things move along) & as she pulls her hand out part of my mucus plug comes out on her glove (sorry if that was TMI), so she says something is definately going on in there. After that she proceeds to hook me up to the machine that monitors the heart rate & contractions.  's heart rate was nice & strong but I was not having contractions.
The other good news is that if nothing happens by Sunday, I am scheduled to go in for cervadil. So my little man will be here no later than Monday 12/15!
