The Fertility Diet
Wanted to share...
I saw this book in Women's Health (December Issue). It's called "The Fertility Diet"
The article says:
"If you hope rug rats are in your future, listen to this: New research from the Nurses' Health Study II (which monitored health issues including infertility in 18,500 nurses) shows that the right diet could help women avoid up to 66 percent of ovulation-related fertility problems. This month, study co-authors Walter Willett, M.D., professor of epidemiology and nutrition at the Harvard School of Public Health, and Jorge Chavarro, M.D. reveal the 10 eating strategies that boost ovulation in The Fertility Diet($16.50, amazon.com). The tip we loved: Regularly having full-fat dairy (like ice cream and whole milk) may reduce infertility by 22 percent. The rest of the book consists of tried-and-true advice (like eat more veggies). Stick to the plan and you're likely to have a healthier body -- and a bump.
Just thought I would share!

Re: The Fertility Diet
There is also an article about this in Conceive Magazine-which is cheaper than the book. I think it is basically common sense though. No trans fats, full fat dairy helps ovaries, exerice etc.
