The Girl with the...
I have a few questions, I have about 20 pages before I am finished with the first book, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
It took me sooooo long to get through the first 80-100 pages, I am usually a fast reader too. I almost gave up because it was so boring and I didn't absorbe much in the begining. But once the "story" started I have really enjoyed it.
I don't want to google and get spoilers so I am coming here. I would like to read the rest in the series, but I am curious are the other two about Lisbeth? Are any other characters still in the series? Also what are the other two about, for example are they mysteries like the first?
And finally for those who have read them all which was your favorite?
Thanks!

Re: The Girl with the...
The first one was still my fave, though I did like the turns they took in the second and third books. It's mostly the same characters with a few new one's thrown in, but it still comes down to being mostly about Lisbeth AND Bloomquist. Their stories are separate but intertwined and it follows them both. If you enjoyed the first book, keep going! The second two are just as fast paced, maybe even more so since I feel like they didn't take as long to get started.

Re: The Girl with the...
I felt the same way about the beginning of the book. It was so hard to get through and I almost gave up but I'm glad I didn't because I ende up really liking the book. I'm now almost half way through the second book, The Girl who Played with Fire, and it's pretty good so far. Similar to the first one it takes a while to unfold and for the plot to pick up. Lisbeth and blomkvist are in it, but it's mainly about lisbeth. There are many other characters that have been brought back as well. And while the plot is much different an focuses on a very different problem for lisbeth than in the first book, there are still many references to what happened in the first book.
