and whats the point of the envelope and the drop down?
me confused
wifezilla = sara-with-an-H! (BNL2005 to the normal folk)
FM flag is missed a lot...soemtimes it doesn't work, etc....so the envelope GLOWS in the upper right corner whenever you have an unread FM. It goes away once you've read the FM.

I know the feeling! But I have the opposite problem- I never see the envelope in the corner cause I hardly ever get FM.
