The great stroller debate.
I'm thinking about the UPPABABY VIsta. It's very expensive. I do like it but I want to make sure I get it for the right reasons. I like the look and style of it. I also like that it can carry two babies or kids... Those that are looking into or have this stroller some questions.... 1. Pros /cons to this stroller... 2. Was the bassinet worth it..l 3. Lugging it in the car was it too heavy?
Thanks so much ladies...

The great stroller debate.
Pros: huge basket, I like the look, easy to fold, great sunshade, great ride.
Cons: heavy!! Heard it gets poor reviews as a double, compatible car seat is pricey and heavy, I don't like the parent organizer, and I feel like the toddler seat is on the small side.
Personally I used the bassinet like twice. I bought the infant insert for the toddler seat. So for me, not worth it.

The great stroller debate.
I have it and love it. It is a bit heavy but not horribly so. I'm a weakling and can get it in and out of the car easily. Opens and closes super easily, too. It pushes like a dream and you can easily tell it's superior quality compared to a lot of the other popular brands.
The Mesa, which is the car seat that goes with it is freaking heavy, and yes, expensive. If I had to do it over I'd definitely get the Vista but I'd get a lighter car seat that had an adaptor.
I didn't think the bassinet would be worth it but it 100% is. DD is a Dec. baby and I still used it for walks and sometimes bring it with me instead of keeping her in the car seat because it's way lighter (and dd likes it better).

Re: The great stroller debate.
Pros: easy ride, maneuvers easily, huge basket, easy open close, I love the look
Cons: heavy--right now I'm only using the car seat or bassinet so I only have to to take the frame in and out of my car and its heavy but manageable. When I move to the toddler seat I will probably put it in the car in 2 pieces to keep it from being too heavy.
I really debated getting the vista vs the Cruz bc I didn't want the bassinet but I'm really glad I got it. I use it for walks and in the house. My DD seems to like it.

The great stroller debate.
Do you ladies feel ladies feel like it was not as protective as a travel system where you can pull the umbrellas over on both sides from the carseat and the stroller to protect the baby?

Re: The great stroller debate.
I love mine. I used the bassinet a ton but my boys were summer babies. I had them out in that everyday. I used it at parties with the mosquito netting all the time. It's a heavy stroller but you can tell it's well made.
Mine is 2011 so I don't know what has changed but it annoys the crap out of me that the cup holders are not attached. It's never there when I need it...it's usually rolling around in my trunk. Mine is also a PITA to fold but hopefully that has improved.
I have a graco car seat and bought the adapter. Part of the appeal to me was that it could convert to a double. Now that I will need a double, I realize that the design is kind of lousy from a practical standpoint so I may just invest in the double.

The great stroller debate.
I went back and forth on this stroller for weeks. With DS1 I had the Cruz and LOVED it. Best stroller ever. Now I am pregnant with #2 and I automatically assumed my next step was going to be the Vista. We went to BBB and tried it out and I was so disappointed that when in doubles it’s not really efficient. The infant car seat was basically in my DS’s face and he was freaking out. From what I researched – lots of Vista moms ended up wearing the infant while pushing their toddler in the stroller. We opted for the City Select which is basically identical. It just has more space between the seats. My review is for a doubles so not sure if it even pertains to you but I will say I wish I got a stroller that grows w/ your family from the get-go bc the Cruz is obsolete to me now and will most likely collect dust.
